Alien Shores is my primary project. It tells the story of Max Sauvern and how he somehow finds himself the lead singer of a garage band. The characters of Izzy, Arq, and Scott and how the guys become close friends are also explored. While sometimes humorous and sometimes violent, Alien Shores is primarily a work of drama. It's inspired by my love of art, music, and conversations with my husband about how men relate to one another as opposed to how women relate to one another. At a less obvious level (I hope) the story is my musing on how men could better relate to one another without turning into women. This comic is not always work/child safe, as the f-bomb and other expletives fly around and there is some violence and sexual content.

This project is still in the writing phase, though the major events are all planned out. It's a sci-fi story in the space-opera genre of Star Wars and Firefly. Like Alien Shores, it also centers on a relationship: that of Kaz and JP. The two men find out what it's like when you find the love of your life unexpectedly and how their relationship grows even while fighting enemies and world-wide conspiracies. Yes, they are a homosexual couple. This comic is also generally not work/child safe due to expletives, violence, and some sexual elements.
